Modern Jones Launches the Modern Mix
Women’s Networking Forum

Mclean, Va., April 14, 2011 – More than 45 women of all ages and professions from throughout the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area came together Wednesday for the launch of the Modern Mix Women’s Networking Forum. The group, founded by Modern Jones, a DC metropolitan full-service residential consultancy from Keller Williams Realty, aims to bring modern women together to discuss ideas, exchange opportunities and build networks to help each other make a difference in the community.

“Today’s women juggle many responsibilities and often don’t have the time—or the forum—to celebrate one another’s success and learn from each other,”said Heidi Ellenberger Jones, principal of Modern Jones. “Our Modern Mix gives women the opportunity to exchange ideas and opportunities with some of the most interesting, smart and fun women in the community. Whether a doctor, stay-at-home mom, executive, student, or small business owner, our Modern Mix Women’s Networking Forum offers something for women looking to better ourselves, our community, and our world.”

Jones provided the group with a promising update on the local real estate market citing Real Estate Business Intelligence, an MRIS company, which shows home sales in the area improving. Participants then toasted the launch with a Modern Jones martini before networking their way through the crowd.

“I met new people and left feeling energized,”said Cathy Bernasek, a Board Member for Compass, a company that provides pro bono strategic consulting to help strengthen Washington DC nonprofits, “What a fun, interesting night with a great group of women! I am so glad to be a part of this group.”

The event was held at 1910 Restaurant in Mclean. The next event will be held on May 11, 2011 at assaggi, 6641 Old dominion Dr., McLean, VA 22101.
